My wife Debbie and I have moved to Cayucos permanently and decided to go to Lunada for lunch! Wow! What a delicious lunch we had. My wife had the most delicious Fish and Chips (Super fresh tasting)! I had the Apple pie burger! Double Wow!! Absolutely delicious! The young lady that waited on us was very sweet and attentive as well! We will be going back very soon! The food was amazing!! 10/10 the Bleu mushroom burger and the shrimp taco were amazing!!! And the sauce for the sweet potatoes fries was heaven sent!!! Definitely coming back on next visit
This was a last minute reservation I made for dinner last weekend & I'm so glad I got to try this place! Ambiance was nice & cozy & service was exceptional. Our server was young but experienced & cordial the entire time. Husband & I started off with some Steamed clams which tasted absolutely delicious! Husband ordered the Rack of Lamb & I ordered the Alaskan Halibut. The Halibut was full of flavor & hubby liked the lamb as it didn't have a gamey taste to it. We brought our own vino to go along with our dinner & corkage was free thanks to our kind server & we were also served complimentary champagne through Yelp check in! I highly recommend this place for a date night!
Beautiful, quaint and food that will take your breath away. The desserts deserve their own category, as they were out of this world! You can get an ocean view, but sitting on the garden area with all of the lights and beautiful flora and fauna was just magical at night. The service was excellent.
The food was amazing! See the photos below for the three meals we had in our group. The garden seating is really wonderful and is usually what we head for, but it was full today so we sat inside by the main st window. It was absolutely gorgeous and fun to people watch. Our server was super nice and asked about the special occasion that brought us there. It was really sweet to feel he cared. I highly recommend the stop and the coffee shop as well.
Nice little nook with a beautiful outside patio u can get a little lost because there many ways to get in and out. The food was great service was fast friendly and I also ordered calamari but didn't get picture! There's plenty of food on the plate! My fiancé and I shared. Prices were affordable also
Not sure how it is possible that I haven't reviewed Lunada until now?! I have been coming here since it first opened, and for many years prior when it was Hoppe's Bistro. It is one of my favorite dining establishments on the central coast! The food, the service, the ambiance, are all 5 stars. From the beautiful garden patio to the ocean views in the dining room, it is hard to find a more beautiful setting. The food is always fresh and so delicious. Their salmon entree with Israeli couscous is one of my all time favorite dishes anywhere and they always have amazing desserts, especially their fruit crisps!
Thank you for one of the best dining experiences we had during our California Central Coast trip! Garden is its middle name, and we enjoyed the colorful displays of beautiful flowers all around. The food was excellently prepared and presented. Filet mignon and salmon were both perfect. The service was pretty good. My only 'complaint' is the Margarita was double the regular size and they don't water down their drinks! Ha ha, that's probably a pro and a con.
